I want to be a millionaire at 40

For younger people everything seems possible in a virtual world and without dedication, persistence and effort. Is it possible to do what they love most and contribute to the growth of the country? How to become a millionaire at a young age?

I want to be a millionaire at 40

(3 minutes of reading)

Social networks are creating the illusion to young people that it is possible to become rich in a short time, but they don't explain the magic formula to get there. They don't even say that you have to work to achieve that goal.

There are several ways to achieve wealth and many of them are well within our reach, such as paying off debts, building an emergency reserve, developing financial literacy, that is, learning how to handle money, setting goals and objectives, and realizing that money is an investment.

On the other hand, this younger generation has been raised on ease, preventing them from feeling obstacles or overcoming barriers. The younger ones don't know what it is to conquer a goal, to climb to the top of the mountain. That's why they live in a digital bubble where everything seems to be possible, where everything is achievable but nothing comes true.

Nowadays you can see on the Internet how a four-stroke engine works or how to fix a door hinge, but that's about it, because the important thing is to know how it's done.

The practical component is missing, to go from the virtual to the tools, to the physical part of things. They talk about doing something great, something that will go down in history and that will guarantee their future, but they don't know how to make it happen.

That is the part that is missing and few know how to overcome. The practical component was lost a long time ago and now it is necessary to recover.

Portugal has the conditions for success

Portugal is planted by the sea with growing tourism, but the Portuguese lack technical and professional skills. There is a lack of entrepreneurship to make the country grow and develop as it fights against an aging population.

The entrepreneurship that facilitates the birth and development of new companies, sometimes in innovative areas. But there are no entrepreneurship courses that allow these goals to be achieved.

Young people have innovative ideas that don't always match reality. Sometimes these ideas may find practical use, but they are not always guaranteed.

But the great difficulty seems to be putting the ideas into practice, because virtual reality forms a barrier that prevents them from becoming practical. On the Internet everything seems possible, even writing a text like this with the help of any APP, but when it comes to saying what I think, artificial intelligence can help little, except to give some suggestions that I can validate or not.

Young people don't want to work, they want to do what they love most. What if it were possible to live in a country where everyone could do what they most like and contribute to the growth of Portugal?
